To those who go to the cathedral:
The Cathedral looms over the southeast side of the large city. As you walk across the city, you notice how crowded it is, a swarm of tradesmen, commoners, beggars and guards make the streets almost unnavigable. The stone walls of the city are the same shade as the sand, and the wind constantly blows up sand in your eyes.
The Cathedral of Gariel stands tall, and is very plain. Two tall watchers, statues, stand three times the height of an average human outside the church. A woman in chainmail armor wielding a sword, her hair in a long ponytail. A man with a full beard and plate armor with weary-looking eyes is the other statue. He himself has a shield, but no weapon.
Inside, the church is dimly lit, and is relatively empty. A man in his early twenties in a plain brown robe looks up as you enter, approaches, but says nothing.

"I heard of the cursed family and i would like to help. If the award is still there." Saying it loud enough so everyone inside can hear.

OOC: No idea what to post, Argh...
IC: Cruril will remain silent until he finds it needed to speak as to not throw off or frighten the people that the others are trying to talk too.

Imbibing in his beverage despite the wolfs testing of the brew, he grunts to himself as it shuffles away, "Lad, mustn't 'ave been able to enjoy a brew this fine. I guess these southerners know a think or two of the dwarves an their styles." Looking to the barkeep once taking the last of the ale down his gullet he, He slides over an additional 2 silver.
" I be needing another before I get to my fine lads in the church and see what gods works I need to do in this sepian land, you call yer home."
After presumably receiving his ale, guzzling it down, and ignoring what buzz, if any. He heads off to the chapel and in tail to his allies coming at the end of what Shane had notably spoke...considering it was loud enough to pick up from the outside. Walking up to him as he enters he places a hand on his shoulder.
"This is a place o' worship lad, no need for us to gather everyone's attentn'. We need only get the high priest or who ever is in charge of this outfit."
Walking up to the man in the brown robe. "Brother, Father, or Deacon, by what title do Ay call ye by lad? An' be ye free to speak for a fellow man of the cloth?"

After seeing the dwarf leave, the wolf stands and stretches its front legs, then turns to the bard and whines softly as it looks towards the door.

OOC: It's winter, but Adra and Ildirin suffer no effects from climate. Treat it as if you were in the middle-east in June.
The man smiles, his face warm as he response, "Acolyte. I am brother Niel, I know of the family you speak of and I, myself, have no direct contact with them," he turns Durohan and continues, "It's always good to see that reverence still remains among the few in this region. What may I do to serve you? If it is about the Thraan, then I can't be of much help, they were given a warning and now a curse falls upon their kingdom, we can only pray." He holds his head low for a moment.

"I hear ye fer the praying of their souls in this time of their need, but I may hold firm to the lads inquiry. Perchance could we take a moment to see them in their rested state. If not here, where shall we go?"

"It might be best to find out more information about this curse, before we attempt to see them, in case it can affect others or at least be able to help them before we even have to see them."

Niels sighs, "You have not the permission to see the noble family. Their steward trusts not the guards in their room, let alone a band of outlanders. The nature of the curse... well, a rider came by and warned them of... some thing, I'm really not sure."
The sweet soft high-pitched hum of a stringed instruments fills your ears, far in the distance, Niels continues.
"Why so curious? I know that this is a matter of great peril, but I know not of your concern in this matter."

rubbing his torn noble symbol while looking around the room for a moment.
"gold is what i am after to fulfill my destine. Now can we see this steward?" with eager in his voice.

Starting to become nervous, Niels looks about, "Well, this is indeed an interesting morning for me. I'm not sure if the Steward has the time to speak with you, although if you go to Mallys Keep on the east side, you can see for sure. The Noble Guards aren't very trusting of outlanders, so I doubt you'll get an audience... "
"So, why are a handful of strangers so interested in the fine details of such a matter?"

OOC: "Because we are sensing... A QUEST!!!"
IC: "We are just curious and just wanting to see if we can help. Its better to have a few strangers look around that isn't high profile, than someone that everyone already knows, and would be declared high profile."
