This campaign will be held in the default setting of D&D 4th edition. It will be held online via RPGTonight.com's tabletop simulator.
Anything in the Player's Handbook I and II are viable. Anything from Martial Power, Arcane Power or Divine Power, toss my way so I can see it first.
Once again, we'll require at least one Defender, Striker and Leader of the five players. Controllers are nice, too.
I'll be posting more info about how the campaign starts, I'm thinking of starting us off on 'Keep on the Shadowfell' and then using it's lead into 'Thunderspire Labyrinth'
They're pretty cool, and I figured we could try 'em out. This will require a bit less preparation campaign-wise, but with all these new tools, it'll probably be more preparation.
I've been warned of three potential TPK fights, and am probably going to adjust them, although if you're up to the challenge, I can leave the adventure unchanged.
PARTY:
Defender: Fighter (Melee; played by Bikibuu)
Striker: Avenger (Melee; played by Fighter), Ranger (Archery; played by Majawh)
Leader: Bard (Melee; played by Goldfish)
Controller: Wizard (Ranged; played by Burnout)
CHARACTER OPTIONS
Nearby towns:
Winterhaven - This small village where the five of you begin your journey. You will be on your way to this village, please try to incorporate how you know the other characters, if you want to, and why you're headed to Winterhaven. Inspirations are as follows:
Douvel Staul is a renown explorer and adventurer who lives in Winterhaven. He encourages others to follow their instincts and often trains others to defend themselves, to identify other species, to survive among the wilds, as well as the art of swordplay, staff-wielding, and competency in light and medium armor. Most adventurers could have started their journey with Douvel as a mentor.
Over a century ago, the Empire of Nerath, existed in this area. Nerath had fallen apart but a couple centuries ago it had much military might. Winterhaven is in the shadow of one of the Keeps in which Nerath maintained. The Keep has been long forgotten, but stories say ancient heirlooms might still be in the Keep.
One of the priests of Fallcrest, one of the larger towns of Nentir Vale, Morla the High Priestess, has heard rumors of a Cult rising in the Gardbury Downs, south of Wintervale. She is offering a substantial reward to anyone who can destroy the cult.
Nentir Vale:
