Claire leaves without a backward glance.
After leaving the prison, she looks into finding the letter.

The End of the Duskbringer(Asher, Vladimiar and Duncan) The group of you wait patiently inside the Hall of the Crimson Legion. Darius is finally dead and his Mind Flayer allies defeated or routed. With the defeat of the Thorpe family you had managed to isolate the fleeing Darius who took on the aspect of his deity, Morell. The mangled head of Darius now lies in front of you and the silence is broken by an armored King Kaius's entrance. He is beaming and opens his arms wide. "Slayers of traitors, those truly loyal to me. This I can appreciate!" Examining the head of Darius, his face contorting to disgust, "He got what was coming to him. Regardless, I have grown awfully fond of you and I have a proposition to make." Turning to Asher he unfurls a map and places it across a table, gesturing as he speaks, "Centurion Cameron has had great success taking the Ildir penninsula and the Adaran lords in that area have sworn fealty to me. Centuriun Alden progresses through the Aziran Desert but is being met with resistance. We are going to be reinforcing them with some of Cameron's army, but we need to garrison Ildir if we are to keep it. This leaves the Cascadian Coast which has been untouched by the Legion." Pointing at Dalris, just to the southeast of the Kael province "You now have two options. For your services to the Empire of Kellryia, you, and your friends, can have a plot of land in western Dalris, you personally will be made a Baron of one of the few Baronies that need governed. I will pay each of you a handsome sum and you can live your lives in peace." Pointing towards the southwestern coast he looks back up at Asher, "... or you can be promoted to Centurion, you can choose your prelates and officers and take part in the Cascadian Campaign, and if it successful, I will make you Duke of Cascade and you will be showered with the wealth and glory that the campaign brings." "Now, I'm sure you have much to say..." "Ildir needs to be secured... I guess I'll take up the mantle to help with that... Or should I go across the desert to possibly greater challenges?'Yess, the desert will greatly fortify your strength in the time to come... Travel to the desert... You know that is what you truly wish..."If I am not needed elsewhere milord, I would like to tackle the issue with Centuriun Alden in the desert, and to leave my children in charge of my estate until I return. If that would be alright with you." Vladimir says with a steady voice, indicating that he believes that this would be a good course of action.

Claire -
Duke Harwall,
I have been to Adara and the land is wondrous. I owe you twenty seven oaths and will pay you back seventy fold. If you recall, I spent those 20 Kaels on your amulet and if you'd like to purchase it back, I'd sell it for 39. Unfair, I realize, but I had it cleaned two times.
I do recall your six daughters and felt it appropriate to give each of them three pieces of pristine jewelry. Do you consider me hopeful? I will make it to the point where it began after I collect the bounty of 80 silver. Silver is the most common precious metal here in Kellryia. I hope we can come to an agreement. If you need advice, I'll be here waiting, possibly forever, but I have a meeting in 37 days.
- Lord Charles Whidmoore

Realizing the letter is coded, she searches for the census book.

The travel to Adara is more than annoying. The Crimson Legion constantly has waypoints guarded and when you finally obtain one of the census books, you get the following message decoded:
Potion. Basement. Home. Guard. Mistress. Blackmail. Nightshade. Desmond. Poison. Scroll. Crimson College. Fog.
I hope we can come to an agreement. If you need advice, I'll be here waiting, possibly forever, but I have a meeting in 37 days.

Spending what seems like hours, eventually a dresser leads to a small area behind it, a hidden drawer revealing a latch, pulling the latch reveals a hidden trap door underneath a wooden barrel. The place below is covered with cobwebs and dust and littered with forgotten uncared items. Eventually you come across a small iron flask labeled 'Invisibility'

Claire prepares obscuring mist and goes back to the prison with the potion hidden amongst her clothing.
"Hello, father. I received your message."

Charles points at one of the two guards, "You may want to talk to him at some point. I appreciate what you've done."

Claire glances at the guard. "Would you care to share what this is about?"

Charles looks worried, perhaps the fact that the guards are paying at least a little attention. "No, nothing. Perhaps now is not the time. Is there anything else you'd like to talk about?"

"Yes, Desmond. Why would you want to do that?"

He grins wickedly, "Diversion. It also makes you the primary heir, I can not change my estates anymore and he gets everything."
