Alternating with Marcos' Star Wars game, I'm going to try running a World of Darkness game. Exactly which one is up in the air to popular preference, but Vampire: the Masquerade is going to be the default unless enough people ask otherwise.
First game should be this upcoming Sunday, May 29th. We'll be doing standard entry-level characters regardless of actual setting. If you need help, have questions, or want to inform me on fine details of my lack of family heritage, my AIM name is neogiegue.
Current expected game: Vampire: the Masquerade [Revised], Camarilla-side, taking place in [City TBD].
We will play over Skype most likely, though I may also use AIM for private messages in the event that private information occurs.
EDIT 1:
Presenting options for debate:
Masquerade vs Requiem: Old system vs new system.
Masquerade has more flavor to the setting and a larger body of predefined things to use and where they fit. It also has a larger overall story that helps bind things together and more concrete political conflict. Requiem has streamlined mechanics, more balanced powers, and better cross-genre rules. Masquerade tends to win in favor of flavor, Requiem tends to win if you're a game balance kind of person.
Location:
We can use Toledo as the center for this game, and could use real world locations in-game if you'd like. This would probably have fewer supernatural NPCs due to the areas population. I was also considering Chicago, as its a massive city and is iconic in both editions of the WoD, for different reasons.
I'm open to suggestions on either.

Things determined so far:
* Masquerade will be used for the setting. i haven't yet decided if I'll convert it to Requiem for the simplified mechanics yet.
* This will be a clan-based game, not a sect-based one. This will still likely bind it down to one sect as well, but we'll focus more on the group and less on the entire world. It will still be a gigantic sandbox, but this should cut down on the overwhelmingness of the settings some.
* So far, only one person has decicded on a concept. Pete is going to be a Gargoyle [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Dyhx71R1szSKHzEM4HLTl7dK2cbEFSiQS5HZWjQ9jsY/edit?hl=en&pli=1], which I can work into most any other clan.

Game 1 Record:
We started up the game, focusing on Clan Assamite within Chicago, the seat of Camarilla power within the Americas. Starting off with a good amount of political intrigue while keeping the setting infodump to a manageable level.
PCs Introduced: Ezio (Cliff) - Assassin for hire, following the Path of Blood Andrei (Marcos) - Vizier and diplomat, on the Path of Blood. Nuha (Amanda) - Sorcerer and Camarilla sherrif, remaining on Humanity. David (Pete) - Gargoyle adopted into Clan Assamite and brought onto the Path of Blood.
NPCs Introduced: Tariq - Regional leader of Clan Assamite inside Chicago, Camarilla member on Humanity Alyssa - Prince of Chicago, member of Clan Ventrue.
Events of Note: * The clan walked into Camarilla court, which was quieter than usual. An increased Sabbat presence in the suburbs outside of Chicago was noticed, and Prince Alyssa asked anyone willing to get more information. * Alyssa reminded everyone of some of her rules for the city: Thin bloods (14th and 15th generation vampires) and Sabbat are not welcome in Chicago and are to be killed, preferably by the Scourge. * A thin-blooded neonate vampire risked the Masquerade by feeding on the wrong person, and they passed out in a bar fight. His rewards for asking for help from the nearby PCs was to get crushed under a dumpster used by the Gargoyle before getting diablerized by Ezio. * Tariq announced to the clan that they had received 2 conflicting hit jobs. Clan Brujah wants help keeping Clan Malkavian from disrupting their archaeological dig, and Clan Malkavian wants Clan Brujah to get out of the area to let them build a strip mall overtop the dig site. * Clan Giovanni sent a message to Ezio informing him that they would be handing hit jobs within Chicago, and that his services won't be necessary anymore. Not that they'd ever hired him before...
Next Game: * Ezio and the Gargoyle are going to talk to Clan Brujah's primogen about the dig site and their job. * Andrei and Nuha are going to talk to Clan Malkavian about the strip mall and their job. * Anything else the characters feel like doing on this night in Chicago. * New characters may be brought in.

Game 2 Record:
We start to look into the conflicting hit jobs. Slow night, as the game was done in AIM chat instead of Skype due to bandwidth limits on my side. 7 XP was awarded to players.
PCs Introduced: * None.
NPCs Introducted: * 12, Malkavian primogen, seems to be paranoid and a big fan of the military. * Sockmouth, ghouled hobo and retainer to 12. * Professor Watkins, Brujah Primogen. Introduced in name.
Events of note: * Bribed Sockmouth $12 to stop trying to intimidate a squirrel and go tell 12 he had guests. * Talked to Huey, a Malkavian trying to spead some kind of Fuck-A-Duck religion. * Discovered Huey was a Setite, and fought him. He got away. Andrei felt bad about letting him live. * Found 12 hosting a Malkavian clan meeting, and discussed the reasons for the strip mall with the clan. They think that something is buried there that should stay buried, and that a strip mall is the most uninteresting thing they could put over it to keep it hidden. * A meeting was set up with the Brujah primogen on the 4th floor of the campus library, in the dark.
Next Game: * Actually meeting the Brujah primogen. * Will there be a new character? * Other stuff. Probably also sunrise. Maybe we should start to finish up this night.

Game 3 Record:
5 XP was awarded for finishing the first night, and 8 XP was awarded for the second, bringing the total to 20 XP for PCs.
New PCs: * None.
New significant NPCs: * His Majesty Tai Pan Robert Peddler: Justicar for Clan Ventrue. Visiting in town for a few days. * Seneschal <NAME TBD>, Ventrue as well. * Harpy <NAME TBD>, trustworthy and durable Toreador gossip queen
New insignificant NPCs: * An arms dealer, dead. * 2 Giovanni thugs, dead. * An old couple and their old dog, brutally murdered. * Ex-sanguinated bacon, but only in a hypothetical context.
Plot events: * Learned the Brujah are looking for items of Noddist (related to Caine/vampire history) lore. The clan agreed to help the Brujah and try to dupe the Malkavians to get both payments. * Executed a hit job in exchange for Dragonbreath shotgun rounds. Upon returning, the Giovanni had set up the job as an excuse to take out their competition. They failed. Ezio successfully reduced his generation with the body of one of them. As a final note, they looted the store and burned it to the ground before leaving. The name of the Giovanni founder/antediluvian was found on a note in the shop with a large amount of cash. * The Venture justicar is in Chicago somewhere. The sherrif was advised to keep the independent members of her clan away from Camarilla court, and anywhere he might decide to be, wherever that may be. He is apparently encouraging the prince to hunt down a 15th generation vampire that is believed to be in Chicago and has escaped notice in several other cities, though none as large as Chicago. * The dig site was investigated. Artifacts were found that implied either Native American or Werewolf (or both) rituals took place there. This upset Watkins, who then realized that there probably weren't any vampires in North America during the time of Caine. The group decided to let the Malkavians win after a play-struggle, so that maybe the werewolves will go after the Malks for burying one of their old sacred sites underneath a strip mall. * That old couple you guys killed earlier? That was one of your clan's police contacts. The Giovanni played you like a bunch of fools. That's how real Kindred roll: get your enemies to fuck themselves over. Aww yeah. * Professor Watkins found out that one Giovanni, Duncan Dunsirn, shows up on the NWU campus on occasion, usually around one of the stadiums, though who he meets and what for isn't known.
Next game:
* Hunting the Giovanni, partly in revenge, partly to repair relationships with the police. * Hunting down a 15th generation vampire that may or may not be in area. * Anything that might go down at the dig site. * Waiting until Friday to try and track down Duncan Dunsirn.

Game 4 Record Nuha and David were the only attending PCs. 3 XP was granted, the total now standing at 23. It was also mentioned that the possibility of making alternate characters is a possibility if people want to. Also mentioned was either making this game a weekly event or changing the date to help players attend more often. For my reference, this virtualadept.co.uk/diceroller.cfm is a decent online die roller. NPCs Introduced: * Petey Slim, Anarch Baron. * Bleeds Those That Do Not Bleed, werewolf. Events: * Nuha and David hunted down the Anarch Baron, Petey Slim. A fight broke out while trying to get information on Sabbat that have been trying to recruit from the Anarchs. * A werewolf was loudly talking with Tariq when the PCs returned. Bleeds Those That Do Not Bleed is investigate why no new werewolves have been born in the last 2 years, and believes that vampires are the cause. If anything about this was discovered, he asks that you come to *Park Location Here* and inform them. He does not guarantee your safety. After he leaves, the PCs conspire to get the werewolves to fight the Tremere. * The PCs head to the park, inform the garou that the Tremere cast a curse to prevent their kind from breeding. David gives them a map and mark the locations of their common gatherings and identify a couple important people that should be killed extra-harshly.

Game 5 Summary:
7 XP were awarded for the busy night, bringing us to 30 XP. Pete, Marcos, and Amanda attended game. Alt characters are now allowed. Another group of vampire PCs in a different sect, or a werewolf, mage, or hunter group can work within the same framework. All characters will share the same XP values, because I'm lazy and don't want to track separate XP totals.
New NPCs: * Andor Jackson - Mage demanding control of Northwestern University
Events of note: * The Ventrue Justicar has left Chicago. There is no longer any worry about running into the highest Camarilla status elder in Chicago. Publically. * Andor Jackson engaged the prince, and demanded that he be given control of Northwestern University. He was declined, and their meeting interrupted by... *...werewolves attacking the Tremere chantry. There were some casualties (likely due to the party taking their time in not arriving quickly, crazy deer jumping into truck cabins through the windshield), but the werewolves were stopped, partly by a rain of silver daggers, and partly due to not understanding how Scooby Doo hallways work. * Camarilla court was called afterwards, to discuss the events of the day. Alyssa feels that the best defense is a good offense, and intends for the Camarilla to put some pressure on the other supernaturals to keep them from attacking central Chicago any further.
Thus begins phase 2 of the campaign: Block by Bloody Block.
