Class Traits
Role: Defender. You are hardy and many of your powers compel enemies to attack you and you are a difficult force to stop on the battlefield.
Power Source: Psionic. Much of your training is martial prowess but it is augmented by your mastery of psionic power. Your ability to maintain a psionic focus is not a talent your average swordsman can perform.
Key Abilities: Strength, Wisdom, Charisma
Armor Proficiencies: Cloth, leather, Hide, Chainmail, Scale mail, Shields
Weapon Proficiencies: Simple melee, Simple Ranged, Military Melee, Military Ranged

Trained Skills: From the class skills list below, choose three trained skills at 1st level.

Psychic Warrior Overview
Characteristics: Your abilities focus on powerful melee attacks combined with battlefield control. A psychometabolism focus warrior favors striker as its secondary role whereas the psychoprescience focus warrior leans more towards a controller.

Should you select Psychometabolism as your Focus Discipline you gain the following uses of your psionic focus:
Metabolic Agony Psychic Warrior Feature

Free Action, Special
Trigger: You perform Telekinetic pull on an enemy and you are psionically focused.
Effect: You inflict 1d10 + wisdom modifier psychic damage. This increases to 2d10 + wisdom modifier damage at 11th level and 3d10 + wisdom modifier damage at 21st level. You may only use this ability once per round and you expend your psionic focus when you use this ability.
Metabolic Surge Psychic Warrior Feature

Free Action, Special
Psionic Focus: You must expend your psionic focus.
Effect: You gain 5 plus your wisdom modifier temporary hit points and gain +1 to all defenses until this hit points expire. Increase the amount of hit points gained to 10 + wisdom modifier at 11th level and 15 + wisdom modifier at 21st level. You expend your psionic focus to use this ability.
Psychoprescience
Should you select Psychoprescience as your Focus Discipline you gain the following uses of your psionic focus:

Trigger: You perform Telekinetic pull on an enemy and you are psionically focused.
Effect: Target is slowed until the end of your next turn and grants combat advantage while this slow effect persists. You may only use this ability once per round and you expend your psionic focus when you use this ability.
Mind Burst Psychic Warrior Feature

Psionic Focus: You must expend your psionic focus.
Effect: All enemies in the burst gain a penalty to defenses equal to your charisma modifier until the end of your next turn.
Creating a Psychic Warrior
All psychic warrior attacks strongly rely on strength to your hit enemy, although some charisma based attacks exist. Wisdom should be your second highest attribute for psychometabolism psychic warriors and charisma is second most important for psychoprescient ones . Constitution is always a good stat for any Defender.
Psychic Warrior Powers
Your Psychic Warrior powers are called disciplines.

While focused, kinetic energy around you deflects incoming attacks

Psionic Focus Psychic Warrior Feature
You focus your psychic energies and enter a state of mental clarity. You concentrate on one or more foes, compelling them to attack you.

Effect: You gain your psionic focus and mark a single enemy with your focus until the end of your next turn. Alternatively, you can use a move action instead of a minor and you may mark two enemies instead of one, if you use a standard action, you can mark all enemies in the burst. You may only use this ability once per round.
Telekinetic Pull Psychic Warrior Feature

Trigger: An enemy marked by your psionic focus performs an attack that does not include you as a target.
Effect: You teleport the enemy up to 3 squares, they must be closer to you at the end of this move.

Your skin hardens temporarily and you keep up your relentless assault.

You express your inner enmity towards a focused enemy and unleash a mental assault upon them.

Hit: 1[W] damage plus your charisma modifier and target gets a -2 penalty to AC until the end of your next turn.
Special: If you expend your psionic focus, they take a penalty of 1 plus your charisma modifier as a penalty to AC.
Shockwave Lash
Spinning your weapon in a spiral pattern, your weapon strikes true and with propelling force.

Empathic Feedback
Your enemy attacks you and you make them feel your pain.

Attack: Strength vs. Willpower
Hit: 2d12 + damage plus your Strength modifier and target is slowed until the end of your next turn.
Miss: Half damage
Psionic Focus: If your discipline is psychoprescience and you are psionically focused you gain a bonus to hit and damage with this power equal to your charisma modifier.
Metabolic Infusion
You transform your body into a force of reckoning.

Miss: Half damage.
Effect: You gain a +1 bonus to Fortitude, Reflex and Willpower for the rest of the combat and anytime you would be involuntarily pushed, pulled or slid, you can reduce the number of squares moved by two.
Psionic Focus: You may expend your psionic focus when you use this power to make yourself immune to being slid, pushed or pulled for the rest of the encounter.
Psychoportation Trap
You call your enemy to you and deliver a telling blow.

Hit: Pull the target up to ten squares to a square adjacent to you and perform a secondary attack.

Psionic Focus: You gain a bonus to hit the enemy with your primary attack equal to your wisdom modifier if you were psionically focused when you performed this attack.
Level 2 Utiliy Disciplines
Body Adjustment
Focusing your mind, you cause your body to regenerate at a rapid pace.

Effect: You may use a healing surge.
Psionic Focus: If you are psionically focused when you performed this action and have chosen the psychometabolism focus, you regain extra hit points equal to your wisdom modifier.
Claws of the Beast
You grow razor sharp claws from your hands.

Target: Self
Effect: You grow sharp claws that can be used as melee weapons. You are proficient at using these claws with a +3 proficiency bonus that inflict 1d8 damage and count as a heavy blade with the high critical property. Weapons, shields and bracers wielded are absorbed when you use this ability, but the benefits still apply as if you were wielding them. Your claws have all magical properties of whatever weapon you had equipped in the main hand and if you aren’t getting a bonus from a shield, whenever you successfully perform a weapon attack with these claws, you may inflict damage equal to your strength modifier to any adjacent enemy. These claws last until the end of the encounter or five minutes, you may end this effect as a minor action.
Dimension Swap
Reaching through to the astral plane, you shift your allies into a more advantageous position.

Effect: You and the targeted ally swap positions or the two allies swap positions. As this is a teleport effect, this movement cannot provoke opportunity attacks.
Psionic Focus: If you are psionically focused when you performed this action you may expend your psionic focus target an enemy and yourself instead of allies.
Prescient Awareness
You feel a slight pain as you know you missed something your normal eyes can not see.

Effect: Re-roll the failed check, adding your charisma modifier as a bonus.

Chronomatic Strike -- Psychic Warrior Attack 1
You alter the flow of time and perform a rapid succession of blows.

Special: If you were psionically focused when you performed this attack, you automatically hit your opponent’s lowest defense instead of AC (assuming AC is not their lowest defense) and ignore all resistances and immunities they have for this attack.
Force Charge
You dramatically increase your acceleration and slam your opponent with mighty force.

Special: You may use this in place of a basic attack when charging.
Psionic Focus: If you are psionically focused when you performed this attack you may increase the damage dealt by your wisdom modifier if you charged. If you expend your psionic focus, you may teleport a number of squares equal to your speed in place of the movement you would have gained via your charge action before the attack.
Hostile Sympathetic Force
You exert a strong emotional reaction and push it into the minds of your enemies, filling them with anguish as you deal a decisive blow.

Hit: -1 to attack rolls until the end of your next turn.
Psionic Focus: If you are psionically focused when you performed this action and have chosen the psychoprescience focus, you may expend your psionic focus to make the penalty to attack rolls equal to your charisma modifier.

You take the fight to the ethereal realm.

Mind Smash
Your weapon becomes immaterial and with driving force pound your opponent's mental defenses.

Psionic Focus: If you use this power while focused, increase the amount of temporary hit points by your wisdom modifier.

You create an impenetrable barrier between you and your foe.

Pulling nearby enemies in, your whirlwind of a weapon slices into many foes.

Psionic Focus: You may expend your psionic focus to gain a bonus on the secondary attack roll equal to half of your strength modifier.
Strike of Crystal Clarity
You clear your mind and remain focused for a short while.

You alter your body to become a machine of war, then strike your opponent with renewed vigor.

Effect: You get a +1 bonus to AC, Fortitude and Speed for the rest of the encounter, as well as a +5 bonus to Athletics checks. You may also spend a healing surge and make a saving throw.
Psionic Focus: If you selected psychometabolism as your discipline and you are psionically focused when you make this attack, inflict extra damage equal to your wisdom modifier.
Empowered Psionic Strike
You exert youself, becoming empowered with all of your physical and mental might and focus it into a single blow.

Hit: 4[W] damage plus strength modifier and you may push the target one square.
Psionic Focus: You may expend your psionic focus to teleport to a square adjacent to the target after you pushed him.
Ethereal Rage
Teleporting from foe to foe, you hack and slash at all foes affected by your focus.

Effect: Before the attack, teleport adjacent to the closest target of your Psionic Focus.

Special: Repeat this attack until you have teleported and attacked (hit or miss) every target of your focus. You cannot teleport more than 10 squares in this manner.
Psionic Focus: You may expend your psionic focus to gain a bonus to the attack rolls equal to half of your charisma modifier for this attack.
Planar Charge
The astral plane makes you difficult to flee from.

Hit: 2[W] damage plus strength modifier and target is slowed and cannot shift until the end of your next turn.
Special: You may use this attack on a charge.
Psionic Focus: You may expend your psionic focus to gain a bonus to attack rolls equal to your wisdom modifier when making opportunity attacks for the rest of the encounter. Also, you may make opportunity attacks against enemies that shift away from squares you threaten for the rest of the encounter.
Level 13 Encounter Disciplines
Decelerating Strike
Your enemy is helplessly slowed by the sands of time.

Hit: 1[W] damage plus strength modifier and target is slowed until the end of your next turn. If you hit the same target twice with this attack they also grant combat advantage until the end of your next turn.
Psionic Focus: If you were psionically focused when you performed this attack, increase your damage dealt by your charisma modifier, an enemy hit three times while psionically focused by this attack is immobilized (save ends) if you chose psychoprescience as your discipline.
Essence Stealing Strike
You siphon your opponent’s essence through your weapon, increasing your hardiness.

Sunder Morale
Your opponent enters a state of helplessness as psychic energies overtake it.

You alter your physical and mental metabolism for a short while, allowing you to retaliate against foes who hopelessly attack your super-improved physical form.

Soulknife Abilities
Manifest Mind Blade (11th level)

Effect: You conjure a mind blade in each hand with a +3 enhancement bonus (which increases at later levels). A Mind blade inflicts 1d8 damage with a +4 proficiency bonus to attack rolls and inflicts +3d8 psychic damage when you score critical hits with this weapon. This Mind blade lasts until you dismiss it, which is a free action. Whenever you successfully inflict damage with a psychic warrior or soulknife power with the Weapon keyword, you may inflict damage equal to your wisdom modifier to an adjacent enemy (which can be the primary target) and you may slide it one square.
Soul Action (11th level)

Hone Mindblade (16th level)
Effect: At will, you can change your weapon to be ghost touch, lightning or flaming whenever you conjure it. Your critical strikes with your Mindblade give the enemy a -2 penalty to all defenses until the end of your next turn. At 16th level, your Mindblade becomes a +4 weapon that inflicts +4d8 psychic damage on a critical. From this point at 21st level it becomes a +5 weapon that inflicts +5d8 psychic damage on a critical and finally at 26th level it becomes a +6 weapon that inflicts +6d8 psychic damage on a critical.

Role: Defender. You are hardy and many of your powers compel enemies to attack you and you are a difficult force to stop on the battlefield.

Creating a Psychic Warrior
All psychic warrior attacks strongly rely on strength to your hit enemy, although some charisma based attacks exist. Wisdom should be your second highest attribute for psychometabolism psychic warriors and charisma is second most important for psychoprescient ones . Constitution is always a good stat for any Defender.

Claws of the Beast
You grow razor sharp claws from your hands.

Effect: You grow sharp claws that can be used as melee weapons. You are proficient at using these claws with a +3 proficiency bonus that inflict 1d8 damage and count as a heavy blade with the high critical property. Weapons, shields and bracers wielded are absorbed when you use this ability, but the benefits still apply as if you were wielding them. Your claws have all magical properties of whatever weapon you had equipped in the main hand and if you aren’t getting a bonus from a shield, whenever you successfully perform a weapon attack with these claws, you may inflict damage equal to your strength modifier to any adjacent enemy. These claws last until the end of the encounter or five minutes, you may end this effect as a minor action.
Dimension Swap
Reaching through to the astral plane, you shift your allies into a more advantageous position.

You feel a slight pain as you know you missed something your normal eyes can not see.

Soulknife Abilities
Manifest Mind Blade (11th level)

Effect: You conjure a mind blade in each hand with a +3 enhancement bonus (which increases at later levels). A Mind blade inflicts 1d8 damage with a +4 proficiency bonus to attack rolls and inflicts +3d8 psychic damage when you score critical hits with this weapon. This Mind blade lasts until you dismiss it, which is a free action. Whenever you successfully inflict damage with a psychic warrior or soulknife power with the Weapon keyword, you may inflict damage equal to your wisdom modifier to an adjacent enemy (which can be the primary target) and you may slide it one square.
Soul Action (11th level)

Effect: Whenever you spend an action point, you may teleport 3 squares before taking your extra action as a free action.
Hone Mindblade (16th level)
Effect: At will, you can change your weapon to be ghost touch, lightning or flaming whenever you conjure it. Your critical strikes with your Mindblade give the enemy a -2 penalty to all defenses until the end of your next turn. At 16th level, your Mindblade becomes a +4 weapon that inflicts +4d8 psychic damage on a critical. From this point at 21st level it becomes a +5 weapon that inflicts +5d8 psychic damage on a critical and finally at 26th level it becomes a +6 weapon that inflicts +6d8 psychic damage on a critical.
Soulknife Disciplines

Benefit: Your Metabolic Agony deals increased damage equal to your strength modifier.
Psychoprescient Opportunity
Your ability to read your opponent's reactions and inner psionic force deny your opponent's the chance to escape.
Prerequisite: Psychoprescient as chosen discipline, Psychic Warrior class.
Benefit: While psionically focused, you may add your charisma modifier to opportunity attack rolls.
Telekinetic Grasp
When you wrench your enemies through the astral plane, you move them further.
Prerequisite: Telekinetic Pull class feature.
Benefit: When you use Telekinetic Pull, you may move the target 5 squares instead of 3.
