... Finally...
Sariel stands, brushing off her dust-covered clothes.
... I've been waiting a while for this...
Grinning, she wipes away a small bit of water forming in the corner of her eye.
... Now, it can finally end...
Sariel motions for the others to stay back, including the robed man, Arthur. Grabbing the handle of the door, she swings it open, her eyes closed.
... Now, I can finally rest...
Looking straight and level at him, she says in a clear and monotonic voice,
"Jonathan."

"You can't h-"
The voice stops.
"S- ... so she lives. As I rightly feared."
"..."
"Arthur. It would do you well to retreat, I fear no one in there will survive."
The man's eyes open wide, "In here!"
He scrambles towards the door on the far wall and begins trying to unlock it.
"My dear, and all aquaintances. Any last words?" says the menacing voice.
Actions: ALL.

It looks like I have a challenger...
Nich will begin to concentrate on his eldritch blast and after everyone has said there piece, will let the eldritch blast loose onto the door (or jonath depending if he is visible or not) before anyone would charge at the door...

... Why... that is my last question...
"As you rightly feared? Oh, come now, Jonathan, what could I have done to such a powerful warlock, hmm hmm..." Sariel says with a hint of mocking. "La, and I thought you had turned from that path. Perhaps you were mistaken... The both of us, hmm hmm."
Pulling her headband out and letting her ears rest normally, she grins and drops the cloth to the floor. "No more need for this, I suppose," she says casually. "Now then, where did we stop last time? Oh yes, I think I remember..."
Leaning in towards him, Sariel closes her eyes, hanging on to the frame of the door as she whispers, "A last request before we die... again?"

The voice hesitates, then speaks again, "A last request? Did you grant such satisfaction to myself? Do you expect me to grant the same leniency? You ... faeries ... do not understand how precious time is, you torment me and then are so bold as to ask for me to show a slight bit of mercy?"
*BOOM*
The door is literally blown off it's hinges and pieces of the cavern wall scatter about the cramped room. Nich, poised to attack, catches the door flying into him, dodging just in time to make what may have been a fatal door to the head, a mere bruising of the shoulder. The force of the blast knocks you to the floor, save Beleg, who manages to stand his ground. Through the debris steps a tall man. He is unmistakably elven in features, but none of the elven traits are exaggerated as you'd have expected, but what seems most obvious is his scarred, misshapen, malformed face. His eyes glow a pale violet and his face deteriorated in many places, show signs of decay. His cheeks are for the most part missing, as you are able to see directly into the mouth. His eyes are back in their sockets as if the material around them has decayed away. He wears a black and dark violet robe and a snarl. With rod in hand he bellows, "Do not think you can cross me again, Sariel! I trusted you, and THAT was... my downfall. You tell Kellar that your kingdom will come crashing down upon Kelland? You are sorely mistaken, dear, for your arrogant, decadant kingdom knows nothing of the powers of the Eidolons, which we harness. Your kingdom shall fall!"
His rage is apparent, his voice is powerful and his prescence overwhelming, but you manage to recover from the blast in time to take action.
Actions? (You can declare you wish to roll initiative if you want to declare a hostile action, otherwise, he doesn't appear to be attacking)

Such power... I want that kind of power...
Nich will target the tall man with his curse, and prepare to strike with an eldritch blast if someone else strikes as well (as to distract the tall man) if some people insist on running then Nich will attempt to run as well, not wanting to be stuck with such a powerful force for a long period of time...

Hmm hmm, so... that's how you survived... Tsk tsk, Jonathan...
Grinning, Sariel wipes a bit of blood from the corner of her mouth, intent on standing but barely finding the power to do so. Upon getting back to her feet, she starts to chuckle.
"Hmm hmm, my my Jonathan, you've certainly grown more powerful... And I see your manners have taken a turn for the worse, not to mention your appearance," she mocks him, laughing in full force now. "Hahaha! Oh, it's a boon that I had a small bit of empathy for you when I spilled your blood, otherwise you might not have attained such power! Ah-hahaha!"
Calming herself slightly, perhaps from going mad, Sariel brushes back a piece of hair, noticing a strand of blood on her hand. "Hmm hmm, well, I certainly didn't expect you to be so powerful. You must be bound to a strong lord, then, because when I last met you you were naught but a frightened child running from your fate, hmm hmm," she taunts again, this time without the laughter.
Suddenly, the grin fades from her face, and her gaze changes to a scowl. "However, I suppose now is the time. If you're going to kill me, then go ahead and do it. You killed me once before... Why is it so much trouble now? I'd rather be dead anyways... Though knowing you'll be coming with me to the grave is a comforting thought," she says in a low, menacing voice. "You can join Liu and myself, and we can all dance in the fires of hell. Does that comfort you, Jonathan?"
She grins once more, an unknown madness washing across her face. "Because it comforts me."

Alenia clears her throat rather loudly before speaking.
"I hate to break up this...whatever it is that's going on, but we were charged with investigating this place, if you have forgotten. So before you two decide to kill each other, I want some information." Alenia turns to the man, "What exactly is going on down here?"

The robed half-elf snarls, then coughs, "Here? This is where the greatest Empire rises and the fall of man, elves and all life begins! You have no chance to survive, lest ye serve in the almighty kingdom of Tarin Kellar. However, this foolish, stupid elf of yours seems to believe it was I who killed her. Do you ... really, really, think it was in my heart? Oh no no no, you were deceived, tricked and lied to by your own kind, girl. Your own kind despises you and spurn you from their decadence, as you are .. that's right, undeserving. You, however different, still had the hard to let me die, slowly... and alone. Then you come and point fingers at me? You are cold, cruel and foolhardy, elf!"

Alenia rolls her eyes and taps her fingers against her arms, which are crossed in front of her.
"Please. The last thing I want to do is listen to you two bicker. Either, shut up, or go somewhere else and shout at each other."
Turning to Arthur, she begins a conversation with him.
Whispering, she asks, "Now who is this farmer you spoke of?"

... Lies...
Sariel's face flashes confusion for a brief second, not realizing the possibility of what he has said. When her customary grin returns, she responds with a cool demeanor that only an elf is capable of. "Heart had nothing to do with it, Jonathan. You know as well as I that I had to kill you. If I hadn't, then someone else would have, and your life would have only been spared for a moment," Sariel remarks. "Believe whatever you wish, but the Mistress ordered me to kill you. The same one who had raised me, taught me everything I know. And you stand there, telling me that it was she, and not you, who had every reason to seek vengeance on me, that betrayed me?"
Laughing for a moment, Sariel composes herself. "No, Jonathan, I cannot believe that. You were a liar back then, and you lie now. Still..." she pauses for a moment, bowing her head slightly, "... I am curious. But curiosity is a folly... And this is real."
Taking a step backwards, Sariel glances over her shoulder at the female human. "Perhaps that's the duty you were charged with," she says with a grin. "Regardless, I believe we got what we came here for. This place is overrun with nightmares and undead... The likes of which we cannot fight here."
Letting out a sigh, Sariel closes her eyes, as she speaks to Jonathan again. "Jonathan, I know you despise me with all your being. I have come to hate you eternally for what you have done to me. So, let us put this to rest, once and for all. I ask you but one quarter: Spare them," she continues, opening her eyes and motioning to those standing behind her, "and you can have your fill of whatever you wish to do to me. This life is meaningless anymore, I cannot even feel the cold on my skin. The warmth of Esvereth... it fades from memory. The only thing I feel anymore is the cold, thrumming from inside, that hollow thing that resides within me."
I would tell you why, but your heart is too filled with hatred to believe it... Just like mine...
The corner of her mouth twitches briefly, though she still smiles. "It seems we are the same, after all these years, we have come to be the same. Fitting, then, that we end here," she says, taking one more step back. "Let it come to pass then, and let them be."
Turning her head to face first Nich, and then Alenia, she closes her eyes and whispers in Elvish. "I place my life in your hands now."
Taking in a deep breath, Sariel reaches to her chest and holds the holy symbol dangling from her neck, whispering a short prayer.

Arthur looks to Alenia, "Wyat?"
*crumble*
The walls, now weakened from the blast, begin to collapse. As the walls crumble, Arthur ducks and it appears there is no escape from the cave in.
A blue flash of light leaves the place where Jonath WAS standing unoccupied, but not for long. Large stones fill in the gap and the entire room becomes rubble, before subsiding momentarily, as the dust clears, the tall half-elf Jonath, towers over the rubble, his cowl now down, his face, somewhat handsome but ruined with scars and deformities.
No one appears to be hurt, save the man who was in the room before you.
Announcing from on high, Jonath speaks to Sariel, "Did you think I would forgive? Did you think I would leave this to chance? No. Now, for your intrusions here against King Kellar himself, you... all... must... DIE!"
(Cue boss fight music)

Jonath emanates an eerie glow and two spectral creatures come from nothingness, lurching forward. They look surprisingly solid and wear the garments of an Ochre Signet mage.
Reacting, Shane steps forward to block line of effect with Jonath and Sariel, swords in hand!
Jonath cites an incantation and dark energies swarm the room.
Jonath calls out, "Feel the power of the stars beyond, and know your mortality!"
Jonath creates a stream of dark glowing energy which rockets high to the ceiling and back down upon Shane, searing him. You feel a compelling urge to stay close to Shane.
Jonath's Dark Radiance inflicts 12 radiant damage to Shane and the curse expires.
Go, Alenia.
