Thinking aloud, "There is no way Deneith will want to see me in this condition. I should at least get some better outfittings, maybe a suit of chainmail... gold permitting. Ah, yes. Gold. That ought to be what I should be trying to get," and heads toward a different tavern, one that does not make a reference to elves or dwarves, carefully avoiding anything that is wandering the towers of Clifftop.

Ulfgar, deciding to take an interest in order to keep busy, shoves his chair back, and heads toward the door, watching the stranger closely as he goes. As he exits, he looks for the source of the noise, keeping his hand near his axe.

Tyrial - you looking for a different tavern, you manage to find one called the Rotted Stump located in Hope's Peak... the three people with the umbrellas seem to have followed you... and you see a man and a dwarf walking out of the tavern heading south along what appears to be a path of destruction.
Keldar - the man shakes his head as if he was spaceing out sees you giving the quizzical look and says "Are you the one that will be assissting us?"
Ulfgar - you follow the stranger outside and you notice that there seems to be a path of destruction heading south, the stranger is heading there. You notice a man <Insert Tyrials Description here> coming towards the tavern and that there are three people following him...

Tyrial - Broken boxes, certain parts of the road seem unusually cracked, some blood on the road, and some tattered clothing laying in random locations....
Ulfgar - you see the same as Tyrial when it comes to the path of destruction...
Keldar - "you have obviously heard about some missing people recently, well we think that the Dark Six is involved, although we dont know how far there plot goes if they are involved it could be some other kind of cult as far as we know... We basically need some assisstance in our investigation of the matter because we are so short handed recently... Are you going to help us?
Bin - Character approved.... You are located at the Dwarven Liver, and no one seems to be paying attention to your story, they are more preoccupied with there drinks or with the conversations that they were already having...

"Clifftop gets worse and worse every time I visit." Ignoring the 'path of destruction' he walks towards the three men in umbrellas, "I'm not in the mood for cloak and dagger. Tell me you're not following me and then do whatever you were doing. I won't accept another answer, and you don't want to answer in any way other than that."
He examines each of them very closely, "Now that you know this, why are you here?"

Tyrial - the three people look at each other for a moment then one of them pulls out a scroll looks it over and nods to the one in the middle...

Tyrial stops and lets down his commanding presence, "Excuse me, but if I am found dead... you will be hunted down and killed. I am expected at Dragon Towers tomorrow, and it will be known should you attempt to kill a dragonmarked," pulling his plated leather glove off and showing the Mark of the Sentinel.
"Yes. I am Tyrial of House Denieth, Son of Eldrin D'Denieth the Bladesmark. I demand to know who you are."

The three men dont look impressed...
"We are the Trinity Guard.... And WE were hired to make sure you get there in one piece and ALIVE... as you may have heard there have been a few disappearances lately so you can understand the concern for your well being... So if you dont mind, you WILL be coming with us one way or another, we do have a job to maintain..."

"House Deneith, if you dont believe us you can ask the people that you are meeting tomorrow, and you still dont trust us the recent disappearances had people who all had a dragonmark so I would cover that up if I were you..."
